Red bananas are sweeter and more nutritious than the larger yellow Cavendish bananas you see at the grocery store. These are tree ripened and had picked before being dried and dehydrated at low tempratures to ensure that their valuable nutrients are not lost.

One thing that makes these particularly unique is that unlike most bananas, these red banana are of the heirloom variety and must be open-pollinated. Theyhave been handed down for many generations and have naturally adapted to their environment over time, making them naturally pest resistant and a very hardy fruit.
A great snack eaten on their own, or chopped and mixed in trail mixes, or as a topper on cereals, yogurt etc.. Also a great snack dipped in nut butter.
